What Successful Candidates Should Do
Candidates who receive provisional admission must complete the necessary steps to secure their offers.
They should follow these instructions:
- Log in to JAMB CAPS: Access the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) through their profiles.
- Accept the admission offer: Accept the admission offered through their JAMB CAPS profiles.
- Print the admission letter: Obtain the appropriate JAMB admission letter.
- Meet departmental requirements: Fulfil the applicable admission requirements for their chosen departments and programmes.
Candidates should complete these steps and follow any additional instructions issued by the university.
Advice for Candidates Who Have Not Secured Admission
UNIMAID has advised applicants who have not secured admission to contact the university’s admissions officer.
This advice applies to candidates who failed to upload their results to JAMB, scored below the minimum requirement for their chosen programmes or encountered other admission difficulties.
The admissions officer can provide information about courses with available admission opportunities.
Furthermore, the officer can explain the process for formalising a change of course through JAMB. Candidates seeking alternative admission options should contact the university for guidance on the available programmes and the required procedures.
