
UNILAG JUPEB Admission Form 2026/2027; The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the commencement of applications for admission into its School of Foundation Studies Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The programme is designed for candidates seeking admission into 200 Level through the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB). Successful candidates who pass the JUPEB examination and meet the admission requirements may gain Direct Entry admission into undergraduate programmes at UNILAG and other participating universities.
In addition to admission opportunities within Nigeria, successful candidates may also be considered for admission into partner institutions abroad, including universities in the United Kingdom and China.
What is the UNILAG School of Foundation Studies Programme?
The School of Foundation Studies Programme is a one-year JUPEB programme that prepares candidates for Direct Entry admission into 200 Level.
Candidates who successfully complete the programme and pass the JUPEB examination may be considered for admission into degree programmes at the University of Lagos through JAMB Direct Entry.
However, admission into a preferred course is subject to departmental requirements and approved admission quotas. Where the number of successful candidates exceeds available spaces, the university may adopt additional selection measures.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of five O’Level credit passes
- English Language and Mathematics included
- Three additional subjects relevant to the intended course of study
- Results obtained in one sitting only
Accepted examinations include:
- SSCE
- WASSCE
- GCE O’Level
- NECO
Candidates must have obtained their O’Level results before registration.
Applicants are also required to have credit passes in the three subjects relevant to their intended JUPEB subject combination.

How to Apply for UNILAG JUPEB Admission
Step 1: Visit the Application Portal

Fill out the pre-application form to generate a Payment Reference Number (PRN).
Important:
- Names must match the National Identification Number (NIN) record.
- Names must also correspond with the birth certificate and O’Level results.
Step 4: Pay the Application Fee
Using the generated PRN, make payment at any commercial bank in Nigeria.
Step 5: Complete the Online Application
After payment:

- Log in using the PRN
- Use your surname in lowercase as the password
- Complete and submit the application form
Step 6: Print Application Copies
After submission, print two copies of the completed application form for future reference.
Important Information on Subject Combinations
Candidates should verify the approved subject combination for their chosen course before submitting the application.
Applicants whose subject combination includes Mathematics must select Further Mathematics as one of the entrance examination subjects.
