Position 1: Head, Financial Transactions – South

Job Type: Full Time
Required Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
Experience: Minimum of four (4) years relevant working experience
Location: Abia, Anambra, Cross River, Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Lagos, Ondo, Osun, Rivers
Industry: Banking

Responsibilities:

• Monitor volume of cash in circulation and manage vault levels, including initiating cash evacuation and temporary insurance cover where necessary.

• Provide cash and equipment (e.g., ATMs, note counting machines) to agencies acting as mini branches.

• Approve salary and payment schedules via I-Teller.

• Supervise inter- and intra-bank transfers, NEFT, foreign transfers (CREMIT) on Payment HUB or IBPS.

• Process PTA/BTA, Form A and Form Q requests.

• Oversee transactions on all collection platforms (Paydirect, First Collect, E-Bills, etc.).

• Reconcile billing accounts, suspense accounts, and Tellers/ATM tills.

• Supervise FD and Treasury Bill bookings.

• Ensure branch ATMs are functional and coordinate timely fault resolution.

• Supervise non-financial transaction units and maintain high levels of customer service.

• Manage customer account enquiries and issue resolution.

• Oversee setup of standing order instructions and verify subordinate transactions.

• Handle probate account enquiries and ensure legal compliance.

• Approve bankers’ confirmations and reference letters.

• Supervise account opening and closure, ensuring full KYC compliance and documentation.

• Oversee cheque, debit card, alert, and online banking service processing and delivery.

• Maintain document control and safe custody of customer materials.
