CUSTECH Revises Resumption Dates for 2026/2027 Academic Session; The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, has revised the resumption dates for fresh and returning students for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The revised schedule was announced in a circular dated 25 September 2026, signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs Glory Ojochogu Yakubu.
According to the university, the adjustment became necessary due to technical glitches and logistical challenges affecting preparations for the new academic session.
CUSTECH Fresh Students to Resume on 12 October
Fresh students, comprising 100 Level and Direct Entry students, are now expected to resume on Monday, 12 October 2026.
The new date replaces the earlier resumption date of Monday, 28 September 2026.
Following resumption, fresh students will be expected to commence important admission and academic processes, including:
- Screening
- Physical documentation
- Online course registration
Students in this category are advised to prepare for these processes ahead of the revised resumption date.
Returning Students to Resume on 19 October
Returning students in 200 Level and above will now resume on Monday, 19 October 2026.
The revised date gives returning students a three-week extension from the earlier resumption arrangement.
Students returning to continue their programmes may proceed with school fee payment and course registration through the university’s online portal before physically returning to campus.
CUSTECH Registration Deadlines
The university has also adjusted the registration schedule for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The revised registration deadlines are:
- Regular registration: Ends Friday, 13 November 2026.
- Late registration: Saturday, 14 November to Monday, 23 November 2026.
- Late registration fee: ₦10,000.
Students are advised to take note of these deadlines and complete the necessary academic and administrative processes within the specified periods.
CUSTECH to Issue Supplementary Academic Calendar
The university stated that its Academic Planning Unit will issue a supplementary academic calendar reflecting the changes to the academic session.
The supplementary calendar will include the new date for the matriculation ceremony and the revised academic workload.
Students are advised to await the supplementary calendar for further details concerning the revised academic schedule.
CUSTECH Management Apologises for the Changes
Management expressed regret over the inconvenience caused by the adjustment to the resumption dates.
Students have also been wished safe journeys back to campus as they prepare to resume for the 2026/2027 academic session.
