FUTMINNA Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Form 2026/2027; The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has announced the commencement of registration for its University Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the University, online registration will begin on Monday, 15 June 2026, and close at midnight on Sunday, 9 August 2026.

Candidates seeking admission through UTME and Direct Entry are advised to carefully review the eligibility requirements and complete their registration before the deadline.

FUTMINNA Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Eligibility

Only candidates who selected the Federal University of Technology, Minna as their first-choice institution are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.

For UTME candidates, the minimum score required is 150. However, some programmes have higher cut-off marks, and candidates must meet the specific cut-off mark for their chosen course before they can qualify for admission consideration.

Applicants are advised to confirm the cut-off mark for their preferred programme before beginning registration.

O’Level Requirements for All Candidates

All applicants must possess at least five O’Level credit passes, including:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Other subjects relevant to the intended course of study

The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

Candidates must also ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), as this is a compulsory requirement for admission processing.

Direct Entry Admission Requirements

Direct Entry candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

  • National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit
  • Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with at least a Merit grade

Only candidates who meet these requirements will be considered for Direct Entry admission.

Can Candidates Change Their Course?

Yes. Candidates who scored 150 and above in UTME but do not possess the required UTME subject combination or O’Level requirements for their chosen course may apply for a change of course.

Such candidates must ensure that the new course selected matches their UTME subject combination and O’Level qualifications.

Applicants are encouraged to review all course requirements carefully before making any changes.

Instructions for Candidates Awaiting O’Level Results

Candidates awaiting the release of their O’Level results may proceed with the registration process.

However, they must upload their results immediately after they become available.

The O’Level results uploaded on the FUTMINNA portal must be the same as those uploaded on JAMB CAPS.

FUTMINNA UPASE Screening Fee

All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000).

Payment must be made through the Remita payment platform.
