Online registration for the screening exercise will open on Monday, 15 June 2026, and close on Wednesday, 8 July 2026. The screening is open to qualified candidates who selected the University of Lagos as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and meet the University’s admission requirements.
UNILAG Post UTME Screening Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must satisfy all admission conditions before applying for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Online Screening Exercise.
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Choose the University of Lagos as their first-choice institution during UTME registration.
- Score a minimum of 200 in the 2026 UTME.
- Possess five credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects at one sitting.
- Have credit passes in English Language and Mathematics.
- Be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026.
- Upload their O’Level results on both JAMB CAPS and the UNILAG application portal on or before 14 August 2026.
Only candidates who meet these requirements will be considered for admission.
Minimum UTME Score for UNILAG Post UTME
The minimum UTME score required for participation in the 2026/2027 UNILAG Post-UTME Screening Exercise is 200.
Candidates who scored below 200 are not eligible for the screening exercise, even if they possess the required O’Level qualifications.
O’Level Requirements for Admission
Applicants must have at least five credit passes at one sitting in subjects relevant to their intended course of study.
English Language and Mathematics are compulsory and must be included among the required credits.
Candidates must also upload their O’Level results to both JAMB CAPS and the UNILAG application portal no later than Friday, 14 August 2026. Failure to do so may affect admission consideration.
Age Requirement for UNILAG Admission
The University has stated that candidates who will not attain the age of 16 years on or before 30 September 2026 are not eligible to apply for admission.

- Post-UTME Screening Fee: ₦2,000
- Application Fee: ₦3,500

How to Apply for UNILAG Post UTME 2026/2027
Eligible candidates should follow the steps below to complete their registration:
Step 1: Visit the Application Portal
Access the University of Lagos application portal and select the option to begin a new application.
Step 2: Select Application Type
Choose “Undergraduate” under the Application Type category.
Step 3: Log In
Use your UTME registration number as your username and your surname written in lowercase letters as your password.
Step 4: Generate Payment Advice
Generate and print the payment advice slip.
Step 5: Make Payment
Pay the required fees through any commercial bank or by using the online payment option.
Step 6: Complete the Screening Form
Return to the portal after payment and complete the online screening application form.
Step 7: Print Examination Pass
Print your Post-UTME Examination Pass after successful registration.

UNILAG Mock Examination Schedule

UNILAG Post UTME Online Aptitude Test Date
The Post-UTME Online Aptitude Test is scheduled to take place from:

Participation in the aptitude test is compulsory.
Candidates who fail to take part in the Post-UTME Online Aptitude Test will not be considered for admission into the University.
Can Former UNILAG Students Apply Again?
Former students whose admission was withdrawn due to poor academic performance or absence status may apply for admission again.
However, such candidates must apply for a programme different from the one they previously studied at the University.
Can Expelled Students Gain Admission Again?
The University has made it clear that students who were expelled from UNILAG are not eligible for fresh admission.
This policy forms part of the admission guidelines for the 2026/2027 academic session.
UNILAG’s Position on Drug Abuse
The University of Lagos maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy on drug abuse.
The University reserves the right to conduct drug tests before or after registration. Any admitted candidate who tests positive for drug use may have their admission withdrawn.
