UCTH Warns Public Against Fake Admission Offers and Fraudulent Payments; University of Calabar Teaching Hospital has warned prospective students and members of the public against fake admission offers being circulated by fraudsters posing as representatives of the hospital.
The management said criminal groups have been using the hospital’s name to deceive applicants by issuing false admission notices and demanding payments into unauthorised bank accounts.
UCTH Warning to Prospective Students
University of Calabar Teaching Hospital stated clearly that it does not process admission through agents or third parties.
The hospital advised applicants to verify any admission message before taking action, especially messages requesting urgent payment or personal bank transfers.
Management also stressed that UCTH does not accept payment into personal accounts or unverified bank accounts.

The hospital explained that all genuine admission and payment instructions must come through the approved channels listed on:

- School of Health Information Management fliers
