Chrisland University Secures NUC Accreditation for Law/ Mass Communication and International Relations; Chrisland University has achieved another academic milestone following the approval of accreditation for three of its academic programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The accredited programmes include Law, Mass Communication, and International Relations and Diplomacy.
The approval came after a comprehensive assessment by the NUC, which reviewed the university’s academic standards, staffing capacity, learning facilities, and curriculum structure. The programmes were found to meet the minimum academic standards required by the commission.

The newly accredited programmes at Chrisland University are:
- Law
- Mass Communication
- International Relations and Diplomacy
This development provides updated confirmation of the academic status of these programmes for students, parents, and other stakeholders.
Vice-Chancellor Speaks on the Accreditation
The Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University, Prof. Oyedunni Sola Arulogun, described the accreditation as the result of sustained planning and institutional development over time.
She stated that the achievement reflects continuous investment in human capital development, improved learning facilities, and curriculum advancement.
Prof. Arulogun also expressed appreciation to the Board of Trustees for its consistent support, as well as to the university management and staff for their contributions during the accreditation process.
What the NUC Evaluated
The accreditation exercise conducted by the NUC assessed key areas of academic delivery at the university.
These included:
- Academic standards
- Staffing quality and adequacy
- Infrastructure and learning facilities
- Curriculum structure and content
The Vice-Chancellor explained that the exercise served as a peer review mechanism aimed at ensuring quality assurance in higher education delivery.
