SAZU Post-UTME / Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 Admission. Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Gadau—formerly Bauchi State University (BASUG)—has commenced the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening form for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The screening is open to candidates who selected SAZU as their first choice in the 2026 UTME or those who have successfully changed their institution to SAZU via a JAMB-accredited CBT centre.

Eligible candidates must have scored 150 or above in the UTME to participate in the screening exercise.


Who Can Apply for SAZU Post-UTME?

SAZU accepts applications from:

  • UTME candidates who selected SAZU as first choice and scored 150 and above
  • UTME candidates who did not choose SAZU initially but have changed to SAZU via JAMB CBT centres
  • Direct Entry candidates with relevant qualifications (OND, HND, A’Level, or first degree)

Candidates scoring below 150 are not eligible.


Direct Entry Requirements

Direct Entry applicants must possess any of the following in a relevant discipline:

  • OND
  • HND
  • A’Level qualifications
  • First degree

DE candidates are also required to ensure their results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS where applicable.

The SAZU online screening portal opens on Monday, 1 June 2026.

All applicants must complete registration online and ensure their JAMB details match their portal records to avoid processing issues.

Applicants are required to complete the process via the SAZU screening portal:

  • Visit the official SAZU screening portal
  • Click “New Application” to activate an account
  • Enter full name and a valid personal phone number
  • Use a phone number that belongs to the applicant for communication purposes
  • Proceed to login using the same phone number as credentials
  • Complete biodata and academic details
  • Confirm all entries before payment
  • Pay the ₦2,000 non-refundable screening fee
  • Submit application after verification

  • Name matches JAMB registration details
  • Correct JAMB registration number
  • Valid phone number linked to applicant
