All applications are conducted online through the official Auchi Polytechnic portal.
PART A: AUCHI POLYTECHNIC HND ADMISSION 2026/2027
Who Can Apply for HND Admission?
Candidates must possess:
- National Diploma (ND) from an NBTE-accredited institution
- ND must be linked to a valid JAMB admission number and letter
- Five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics
- WAEC, NECO or NABTEB (not more than two sittings)
- Minimum of one year Industrial Training (IT)
- Two years IT required for candidates with a pass grade
- NBTE-certified IT completion certificate
- Academic transcript (mandatory for non-Auchi graduates)
⚠️ Candidates without JAMB admission records for ND are not eligible.
Why JAMB Admission Letter Matters
Auchi Polytechnic requires proof that ND admission was obtained through JAMB.
Candidates without a JAMB admission letter may not qualify for HND admission and could face NYSC mobilisation issues.
HND Application Fee
- Amount: ₦32,500
- Payment mode: Online via Remita through the official portal
- Status: Non-refundable
How to Apply for HND Admission
Applicants must complete the process online:
- Visit the Auchi Polytechnic application portal
- Create username (preferably phone number) and password
- Generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)
- Make payment via Remita-approved channels
- Return to portal after payment confirmation
- Complete application form carefully
- Upload passport photograph and credentials
- Print acknowledgement slip and application forms
- Attach required documents and submit as instructed

- HND in Building Technology (Lower Credit minimum)
- NYSC completion or exemption required
Urban and Regional Planning
- HND Upper Credit: NYSC required
- Lower Credit: 2 years experience + NYSC
- Pass: 3 years experience + NYSC
- Relevant O’Level requirements also apply
Programme Duration
- Building Technology: 18 months (3 semesters)
- Urban & Regional Planning: same professional duration structure
