NSUK Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Form for 2026/2027 Admission Now Available; Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has announced the commencement of its online Post UTME and Direct Entry screening registration for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The online registration portal will open on 17 July 2026 and close on 30 September 2026.
All eligible UTME and Direct Entry candidates are required to complete the online screening exercise, pay the ₦2,000 screening processing fee, and upload the required qualifications to their JAMB profiles before they can be considered for admission.
The university also stressed that the phone number used during registration must belong to the applicant.
NSUK Post UTME Registration Date
The online screening exercise will run as follows:
- Opening Date: 17 July 2026
- Closing Date: 30 September 2026
Registration will be completed through the official NSUK 2026 Post UTME Screening Portal.
Participation in the online screening exercise is compulsory for all candidates seeking admission through UTME or Direct Entry.
Eligibility for NSUK Post UTME Screening
Candidates applying through UTME must satisfy the university’s admission requirements, including selecting NSUK as their first-choice institution, meeting the required UTME score for their chosen course and uploading their O’Level results to their JAMB profile.
UTME Admission Requirements
UTME applicants must:
- Have participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Select Nasarawa State University, Keffi as their first-choice institution.
- Meet the minimum UTME score required for their chosen programme.
- Possess at least five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Present O’Level results obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Upload their O’Level results to their JAMB profile through an accredited JAMB CBT centre.
The university accepts results from:
- WAEC
- NECO
- NABTEB
- NBAIS
- Other recognised examination bodies
Candidates who applied for French are exempted from the Mathematics and French O’Level requirements.

Applicants must meet the cut-off mark specified for their chosen programme before applying.
Eligibility for Direct Entry Screening
Direct Entry applicants must possess an acceptable Advanced Level qualification in addition to the required O’Level credits.
Acceptable qualifications include:
- National Diploma (ND) or Nasarawa State University Diploma with at least Lower Credit.
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with a minimum of Merit.
- IJMB with at least eight points for Direct Entry admission.
Applicants must also have at least five relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings from:
- WAEC
- NECO
- NABTEB
- NBAIS
- Other recognised examination bodies
Additional Requirement for Health-Related Programmes
Direct Entry candidates applying for:
- Community Health
- Environmental Health Science
- Health Information Management
must possess a valid licence from the appropriate professional body.
Evidence of the professional licence must be uploaded during the online Post UTME application.
NSUK Screening Fee
The screening processing fee is ₦2,000 only.
After creating an account and completing the required details, applicants should select the payment option on the portal and make payment.
Candidates should note that payment alone does not complete the screening exercise. All remaining application steps must also be completed.
How to Apply for NSUK Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening
Applicants should complete the online registration by following these steps:
- Visit the NSUK 2026 Post UTME Screening Portal.
- Create an account and complete your profile.
- Select “2026/2027 POST-UTME Application.”
- Enter a valid email address and create a password.
- Verify your email using the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your email address.
- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Enter the required personal information.
- Direct Entry applicants should provide their A’Level qualifications where applicable.
- Select a payment option and pay the ₦2,000 screening fee.
- Enter the scratch card details for your WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS or other recognised examination result.
- Complete the application.
- Confirm that your application status shows “Screening in Progress.”
- Return after 24 hours to check your screening result.
- Print your Application Summary and Payment Invoice for future reference.
Applicants should ensure that the phone number used during registration belongs to them, as it will be used for official communication.
Uploading Results to the JAMB Profile
Both UTME and Direct Entry candidates must upload their O’Level or A’Level results to their JAMB profile through an accredited JAMB CBT centre.
Completing the NSUK screening form alone does not replace the compulsory JAMB result upload.
Candidates who fail to upload their qualifications to JAMB will not be considered for admission.
When Will the Screening Result Be Available?
Applicants are expected to revisit the screening portal 24 hours after completing their application.
Initially, the application status will display “Screening in Progress.”
Candidates should later confirm that the screening has been successfully completed and print the Application Summary and Payment Invoice.
Is the NSUK Online Screening Compulsory?
Yes.
Participation in the online screening exercise is mandatory for every UTME and Direct Entry applicant.
Candidates who fail to complete the screening will not be considered for admission, even if they meet all other admission requirements.
What Happens After Receiving Admission on JAMB CAPS?
Candidates should regularly monitor their admission status on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
Any admission offer must be accepted within four weeks.
Failure to accept the admission within the specified period will result in:
- Cancellation of the admission.
- Placement in the “Refusal to Accept” category.
- Ineligibility for readmission.
Candidates Required to Change Their Programmes
Some applicants are required to change their originally selected programmes to available or newly approved programmes.
Mass Communication Applicants
Mass Communication has been unbundled.
Candidates who initially selected Mass Communication must change to one of the following programmes:
- Journalism and Media Studies
- Broadcasting
- Public Relations
Estate Management Applicants
Nasarawa State University does not offer Estate Management.
Affected candidates should change their programme to either:
- Building Technology
- Architecture
Agriculture Applicants
Candidates who selected Agriculture should change to one of the following specialised programmes:
- Agricultural Economics and Extension
- Animal Science
- Agronomy
- Aquaculture and Fisheries Management
- Forestry and Wildlife Management

Before submitting the screening form, candidates should confirm that:
- Their selected programme is correct.
- Their UTME score meets the required cut-off mark.
- Their O’Level or A’Level details are accurate.
- Their qualifications have been uploaded to the JAMB profile.
- Direct Entry applicants for Community Health, Environmental Health Science and Health Information Management have uploaded evidence of their professional licence where applicable.
- Their email address is active for OTP verification.
- The phone number provided belongs to them.
