Covenant University reported the following scores across three key performance indicators in the 2027 Times Higher Education World University Rankings:
- Industry: 61.0
- International Outlook: 48.6
- Research Environment: 32.5
According to the university’s announcement, its Industry score reflects its efforts in research commercialisation and technology innovation.
The institution linked its International Outlook score to international collaboration, highlighting the importance of partnerships and cooperation across national borders.
Meanwhile, the Research Environment score was associated with investment in research infrastructure to support research activities and development.
Covenant University Vice-Chancellor Reacts to the Ranking
The Vice-Chancellor of Covenant University, Professor Timothy A. Anake, attributed the reported ranking result to the institution’s strategic planning, high-impact research and collaboration with corporate and industrial organisations.
He highlighted these areas as important factors behind the university’s performance in the 2027 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
