
NNPC-Renaissance JV University Scholarship 2026 Application for Nigerian Undergraduates; Renaissance African Energy Company Limited, operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture, has officially opened applications for the 2026 NNPC-Renaissance JV University Scholarship Programme.
The scholarship programme is designed to support academic excellence and educational development among Nigerian undergraduates. Successful applicants will receive annual scholarship grants throughout the duration of their undergraduate studies.
Interested students are advised to review the scholarship categories, eligibility requirements and document list carefully before beginning the application process.
Scholarship Categories
The NNPC-Renaissance JV University Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship scheme with two award categories.
National Merit Award
The National Merit Award category is open to all qualified Nigerian students regardless of state of origin.
Areas of Operation Merit Award
The Areas of Operation Merit Award is specifically reserved for indigenes of Renaissance operational communities located in:
- Bayelsa State
- Delta State
- Imo State
- Rivers State
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- Be registered as full-time undergraduates in accredited Nigerian universities
- Be currently in 200 Level
- Provide proof of admission into the 2024/2025 academic session
Applicants currently benefiting from any other scholarship offered by organisations operating within the oil and gas sector are not eligible to apply.

- Recent passport photograph with white background
- School identity card
- University admission letter or JAMB admission letter
- JAMB result slip
- 2024/2025 academic transcript or 100-level result
- Letter of identification from state or local government
Additional Requirement for Areas of Operation Applicants
Candidates applying under the Areas of Operation Merit Award category must also provide community identification letters signed by:
- The Paramount Ruler
- The CDC or CEC Chairman

Application Deadline
Applications for the 2026 NNPC-Renaissance JV University Scholarship opened on 30 April 2026 and will close on 31 May 2026.
Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in the computer-based test stage of the selection process.
