The general minimum UTME cut-off mark for most courses is 160. However, candidates applying for Common Law and Common and Sharia Law must score 180 or above, while Nursing requires a minimum score of 200.
The university also announced that Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and Statistics Education will not admit candidates during the 2026/2027 admission exercise.

Who Is Eligible for the MAU Post-UTME Screening?

- Law applicants must score 180 or above.
- Nursing applicants must score 200 or above.
- Candidates applying for programmes marked as No Admission will not be considered.
Applicants who score below the required cut-off mark for their chosen course will not qualify for the screening exercise.
Does a Score of 160 Qualify a Candidate for Every Course?
No.
A score of 160 qualifies candidates only for programmes with a published cut-off mark of 160.
It does not qualify candidates for:

In addition, Medicine and Surgery and Statistics Education are not available for admission during the current admission exercise.
Does Meeting the Cut-Off Mark Guarantee Admission?
No.
Meeting the published cut-off mark only makes a candidate eligible for the admission screening process. Candidates must still participate in the MAU Post-UTME screening and satisfy all other admission requirements before admission can be offered.
