MOAUM Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Form for 2026/2027 Admission Now Available; Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), formerly Benue State University, Makurdi, has commenced registration for its online Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into the university’s undergraduate programmes.

The online registration exercise will begin on Monday, 13 July 2026, and close on Wednesday, 12 August 2026.

Candidates must have selected MOAUM as their first-choice institution or changed their first-choice university to MOAUM before completing the registration.

Who Can Apply for MOAUM Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening?

The screening exercise is open to candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry applicants seeking admission into Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University.

To be eligible, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

  • MOAUM must be selected as the first-choice university.
  • Candidates who initially chose another institution must change their first choice to MOAUM through JAMB before registration.
  • Applicants must meet the minimum UTME score required for their chosen programme.
  • Candidates must possess the required O’Level qualifications.

Although the general minimum UTME score is 150, several programmes require higher scores.

Programmes That Accept a Minimum Score of 150

Candidates with a UTME score of 150 and above may apply for programmes offered under the:

  • Faculty of Education

Programmes That Require a Minimum Score of 160

A minimum score of 160 is required for programmes in the following faculties:

  • Administration and Management
  • Arts
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Science (excluding B.Sc. Computer Science and B.Sc. Biochemistry)
  • Social Sciences
  • Technology and Industrial Studies

Programmes That Require a Minimum Score of 180

Applicants need at least 180 to apply for:

  • Faculty of Architecture programmes
  • Faculty of Communication and Media Studies programmes
  • B.Sc. Computer Science

Programmes That Require a Minimum Score of 200

Candidates applying for the following programmes must score at least 200:

  • B.Sc. Microbiology
  • B.Sc. Human Anatomy
  • B.Sc. Human Physiology
  • B.Sc. Biochemistry

Programmes That Require a Minimum Score of 220

A minimum UTME score of 220 is required for:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy
  • B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Science
  • B.Sc. Radiography and Radiation Science

Programmes That Require a Minimum Score of 240

Candidates seeking admission into the following programmes must score at least 240:

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)

O’Level Requirements

UTME candidates must possess five relevant O’Level credit passes, including:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics

The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings, and the subjects must be relevant to the programme being applied for.

MOAUM Post UTME Screening Fee

The online Post UTME and Direct Entry screening fee is ₦2,000.

Payment should be made through the University’s E-Payment platform after the applicant’s JAMB registration details have been successfully verified.

How to Apply for MOAUM Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening

Eligible candidates should complete their registration online by following these steps:

  1. Visit the MOAUM admission portal.
  2. Click on the Admission menu.
  3. Select Post UTME/DE Verification.
  4. Enter your JAMB registration number and click Next.
  5. After successful verification, click Proceed to access the E-Payment platform.
  6. Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee online.
  7. Return to the admission portal after payment.
  8. Open the Admission menu again and select Continue Registration.
  9. Complete the online biodata application form.
  10. Print the completed application form for future reference.

Applicants are advised to keep the printed registration slip safely.

Upload O’Level and A’Level Results to JAMB CAPS

All applicants must upload the required academic results to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

  • UTME candidates must upload their O’Level results.
  • Direct Entry applicants must upload their A’Level qualifications.

Candidates who fail to upload the required results to JAMB CAPS will not be considered for admission.

Uploading results during the MOAUM screening registration does not replace the mandatory JAMB CAPS upload.

Applicants Required to Change Their Programmes

The university has directed some applicants to change their selected programmes.

Candidates Who Applied for B.Sc. Mass Communication

Applicants who selected B.Sc. Mass Communication should change to other programmes available in the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.

Candidates Who Applied for BN Nursing

Applicants seeking admission into BN Nursing should change to other science-related programmes, particularly courses offered in:

  • Faculty of Science
  • College of Health Sciences

Candidates Who Applied for Vocational and Technical Education

Candidates who selected Vocational and Technical Education should change to programmes under the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Studies, especially Industrial Technology.

Applicants affected by these directives should ensure that the required programme changes are reflected in their admission records.

  • Follow any additional instructions released by the university.

Can Candidates Who Chose Another University Apply?

Yes.

Candidates who originally selected another institution can still apply after changing their first-choice university to Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi through the JAMB portal.

The institution must appear as the applicant’s first choice before registration.

Are Direct Entry Candidates Eligible?

Yes.

The screening exercise also covers Direct Entry applicants who selected MOAUM as their first-choice institution.

Direct Entry candidates must upload their relevant A’Level qualifications to JAMB CAPS during the admission process.

Is the Screening Conducted Online?

Yes.

The registration and screening verification process is conducted online through the university portal.
