Lens Polytechnic HND Programmes Approved by NBTE; The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has approved Lens Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, to commence 14 Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes following a successful resource inspection and accreditation exercise.
The approval paves the way for the Polytechnic to admit qualified candidates into various HND programmes across Engineering, Media, Computing, Administration, Security, and Health Sciences for the 2026/2027 academic session.
NBTE Grants Approval for New HND Programmes
The approval was granted after an accreditation team from the National Board for Technical Education visited the institution on 18 May 2026 to assess its facilities, manpower, and overall readiness to deliver Higher National Diploma programmes.
The inspection formed part of NBTE’s quality assurance process aimed at ensuring institutions meet the required standards for technical and vocational education.
Management of the Polytechnic expressed appreciation to the Board for the successful accreditation exercise and the timely approval granted to the institution.
Admission Into Approved HND Programmes Begins
Following the approval, Lens Polytechnic has opened admission into the newly accredited HND programmes and is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply.
