Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti HND Admission Form 2026/2027 Session; The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti (FEDPOLYADO) has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the institution’s Morning, Evening, and Part-Time HND programmes. The Morning programme runs for four semesters, while the Evening and Part-Time options run for six semesters.

Eligibility Requirements for FEDPOLYADO HND Admission

To qualify for admission, candidates must possess:

  • A National Diploma (ND) in a relevant discipline with at least a Lower Credit.
  • Five relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or approved NABTEB examinations.
  • ND Statement of Result and Industrial Training (IT) letter ready for upload during application.

Industrial Training Requirement

Candidates must also satisfy the following post-ND work experience requirements:

  • ND holders with Lower Credit and above must possess at least nine months of relevant Industrial Training experience.
  • ND holders with Pass grade must possess a minimum of eighteen months of relevant Industrial Training experience.

NABTEB Requirements

Applicants using NABTEB qualifications should note the following:

Engineering Programmes

Candidates must possess:

  • Five required O’Level subjects.
  • One core subject from the relevant Trade Related Area (TRA).

The following subjects are not accepted as core TRA subjects for Engineering programmes:

  • Book Keeping
  • Commerce
  • Principles of Accounts
  • Secretarial Studies

Business-Related Programmes

Applicants may use the NABTEB Business Certificate.

Important Notice

  • NABTEB Business Certificate and NABTEB General Education Certificate are not accepted for admission into the School of Engineering.
  • NABTEB National Technical Certificate and NABTEB General Education Certificate may be accepted for selected programmes in Agriculture, Science, Computer Studies, and Environmental Studies according to programme requirements.

Applicants are advised to consult the Polytechnic admission guidelines for detailed ND entry requirements relating to their intended HND programme.

Application Period

  • Application Opens: Monday, 15 June 2026
  • Application Closes: Tuesday, 21 July 2026

Prospective candidates are advised to regularly visit the Polytechnic website for updates and application instructions.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₦15,500, including administrative charges.

Payment must be made through the Remita platform after generating an invoice from the Polytechnic portal.

How to Apply for FEDPOLYADO HND Admission

Applicants should follow these steps:

  1. Visit the FEDPOLYADO Student Application Portal.
  2. Generate and print the application payment invoice.
  3. Proceed to any bank and pay ₦15,500 through Remita, or pay online using a MasterCard, Visa Card, or Verve Card.
  4. Return to the portal after payment.
  5. Complete the online application form using the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
  6. Upload the required ND result and Industrial Training letter.
  7. Submit the application.
  8. Print the acknowledgement slip.

Note: The invoice and RRR must be generated in the applicant’s name.

Aptitude Test Requirement

All applicants for Morning, Evening, and Part-Time HND programmes will sit for a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The examination will cover:

  • Test of English
  • General Paper
  • National Diploma specialisation subjects

Transcript Requirement for Candidates from Other Institutions

Applicants who obtained their National Diploma from other tertiary institutions must arrange for their academic transcripts to be sent directly by their former institutions to:

Important: Transcripts submitted by hand will not be accepted.

Applications That May Not Be Processed

The Polytechnic reserves the right not to process applications where:

  • Required transcripts are not received before the deadline.
  • Application forms are incomplete.
  • Applications are submitted after the closing date.
  • False information is provided.

In addition:

  • ND holders with Lower Credit and above whose Statement of Result carries an effective date of March 2026 or later will not be considered.
  • ND holders with Pass grade whose Statement of Result carries an effective date of January 2025 or later will not be considered.
