Fountain University Secures Full NUC Accreditation for All Academic Programmes; Fountain University has secured full accreditation for all its academic programmes from the National Universities Commission, marking a major achievement for the institution.
The approval strengthens the university’s academic standing, with the institution now boasting more than 39 fully accredited programmes. Several of these programmes also hold relevant professional recognitions, further improving the university’s reputation in higher education.
Vice-Chancellor Announces Accreditation Success
The Vice-Chancellor of Fountain University, Professor Olayinka Ramota Karim, confirmed the development in an official statement released by the university.
According to her, the university received full accreditation for 18 additional programmes during the 2025/2026 academic session. This increased the total number of fully accredited programmes in the institution to over 39.
The accreditation status is considered important for prospective students, parents and guardians who often assess programme approval before making admission decisions.
Professor Karim Speaks on the Achievement
