Position: Officer – Bank Reconciliations and Charges

---

Job Description

The Bank Officer will be responsible for:

• Ensuring all company bank accounts are reconciled daily and monthly.

• Promptly following up and resolving all reconciliation discrepancies.

• Detecting and reporting irregular entries in bank statements and ledgers.

• Acting as an interface between PNG customers and banks for deposit confirmations.

• Identifying unknown lodgements and managing them according to company policy.

• Identifying payments not reflected on NAV and advising accordingly.

• Posting all bank charges promptly.

• Verifying and recovering any excess bank charges.

Qualifications and Requirements

• HND/BSc in Accounting or Finance.

• 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes.

• Familiarity with accounting policies and procedures.

• Computer proficiency.

• Understanding of financial regulations.
