AIM Consultants Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of contract and cost management in construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation

• Monitor project budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle

• Evaluate contractor quotations and manage tender processes

• Conduct site visits and prepare valuation reports and progress claims

• Ensure compliance with contract terms and legal requirements

• Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to project stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience

• Proficiency in cost estimating tools such as CostX, WinQS, and Microsoft Excel

• Strong knowledge of standard contract forms (FIDIC, JCT, NEC, etc.)

• Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills

• Effective communication and report writing capabilities

• Membership or registration with a recognized professional body (e.g., NIQS, RICS, or QS Registration Board) is a strong advantage
