Are you an experienced developer passionate about technology for social good? Code for Africa is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our remote team and help build impactful civic-tech and open-source tools across the continent.

You’ll Stand Out If You Have:

✅ A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
✅ Experience with open-source, civic-tech, media, or non-profit platforms
✅ Hands-on expertise with tools like:

• Distributed task queues (e.g., Celery, Dask)

• Data pipelines (Airflow, Dagster)

• Event orchestration (Prefect, Temporal)

• Geospatial technologies (PostGIS, GeoJSON, vector tiles)
  ✅ Proven experience deploying AI-powered applications (LLMs, generative AI, agent frameworks)
  ✅ Fluency in French, Arabic, Swahili, or other major African languages is a strong plus
