ESUT Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form for 2026/2027 Admission; Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has opened its online Post UTME and Direct Entry screening registration for candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The screening exercise is open to candidates who selected ESUT in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), candidates who wish to change their institution to ESUT, and Direct Entry applicants who chose the university.
Who Can Apply?
The following categories of candidates are eligible for the screening exercise:
- Candidates who chose Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) in the 2026 UTME.
- Candidates who did not initially choose ESUT but now wish to study at the university. Such candidates must first process a Change of Institution through JAMB before completing the ESUT online screening registration.
- Direct Entry candidates who selected ESUT.
ESUT Cut-Off Marks for 2026/2027 Admission
ESUT has approved different minimum UTME scores depending on the course of study.

Candidates whose UTME scores do not meet the minimum requirement for their chosen course should use the approved cut-off mark as the determining factor before proceeding with registration.
Screening Method
The admission screening will be conducted entirely online.
Candidates are not required to attend any physical screening or aptitude test.
Screening Fee
The screening processing fee is N2,000 only.
Payment must be made through the ESUT admission portal using any of the available Interswitch payment options after generating an invoice.
Registration Period
Online registration will commence on Tuesday, 7 July 2026 and close on Saturday, 15 August 2026.
Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline, as late applications will not be accepted.
How to Apply
Candidates should complete their registration through the ESUT admission portal using their JAMB Registration Number.
Follow these steps:
- Visit the ESUT admission screening portal.
- Click “2026/2027.”
- Under Regular Students, select “2026/2027 Admission Screening Registration.”
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and continue.
- Fill in the required details to generate your payment invoice.
- Pay the screening fee of N2,000 using any of the available payment options.
- Return to the application page and enter your JAMB Registration Number again.
- Complete the online application form carefully.
- Review all entries before submission.
- Submit the application.
- Print your acknowledgement slip.
Payment Options
Candidates may pay through any of the available Interswitch payment channels.
Bank Branch Payment
Print the generated invoice containing the reference number and proceed to any commercial bank to pay the N2,000 screening fee through Enugu State IGR Pay Direct.
Debit Card Payment
Candidates may also make payment online using a debit card.
Important Things to Check Before Submission
Candidates should carefully verify all information before submitting the application because false information or inconsistencies may result in disqualification.
Applicants should ensure that:
- Their JAMB Registration Number is correct.
- Their UTME score meets the required cut-off mark for the chosen course.
- Their names are exactly the same on their O’Level certificate, UTME result and every other registration document.
- Their O’Level result has been uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
- Registration is completed before Saturday, 15 August 2026.
- The acknowledgement slip is printed after successful submission.
Candidates Awaiting O’Level Results
Candidates awaiting the release of:
- WAEC SSCE May/June 2026 results,
- NECO SSCE May/June 2026 results, and
- NABTEB May/June 2026 results
are eligible to apply.
However, any O’Level result released after 30 September 2026 will not be accepted.
Name Consistency Requirement
ESUT does not accept inconsistencies in candidates’ names.
The names on all documents, including O’Level certificates, UTME results and other registration documents, must be exactly the same. Any discrepancy may result in disqualification.
Upload of O’Level Results on JAMB CAPS
All applicants must upload their SSCE O’Level results to JAMB CAPS.
This requirement applies both to candidates whose results have already been released and those whose results become available within the approved submission period.
Candidate Attestation
Every applicant must certify that all information supplied during registration is correct and accurate to the best of his or her knowledge.
Any candidate found to have supplied false information will be disqualified.
Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry candidates who selected ESUT are also required to participate in the online screening exercise.
They should complete their registration through the ESUT portal following the same screening procedures.
In addition, Direct Entry candidates must request their previous institutions to verify and clear their academic records through the JAMB e-facilities platform.
Admission Status
Successful candidates will receive admission updates through:
- The ESUT admission portal.
- JAMB CAPS.
Applicants are advised to regularly monitor both platforms throughout the admission process.
