DELSU Post UTME and Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 Admission; Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has commenced the sale of its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who chose DELSU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 150 or above.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

UTME candidates are eligible to apply if they:

  • Chose Delta State University, Abraka, as their first-choice institution during the 2026 UTME.
  • Scored a minimum of 150 in the UTME.

Candidates who did not initially select DELSU as their first-choice institution can still apply. However, they must first complete a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal and make Delta State University, Abraka, their first-choice institution before the Post UTME application process closes.

DELSU Post UTME Application Dates

The online application portal opens on Friday, 29 May 2026 and closes at 12:00 midnight on Monday, 13 July 2026.

Applicants are advised to complete their registration before the deadline, as late applications will not be accepted.

How to Apply for DELSU Post UTME

Candidates are required to complete their application through the DELSU online admission portal by following these steps:

  1. Visit the DELSU Post UTME application portal.
  2. Click on “POST UTME 2026/2027” to access the Purchase Form page.
  3. Click “Start Form.”
  4. Enter your JAMB registration number.
  5. Complete the application form and pay the ₦2,000 application fee.
  6. Fill in your O’Level results and guardian information.
  7. Upload a recent passport photograph.
  8. Submit the completed application.
  9. Print the completed application form and keep it for future reference.

Applicants are advised to retain the printed acknowledgement slip, as it serves as evidence of successful registration.

DELSU Post UTME Application Fee

The application fee for the DELSU 2026/2027 Post UTME screening exercise is ₦2,000.

Candidates should make payment through the university’s online application portal by following the payment instructions provided during registration.

Direct Entry Requirements

Direct Entry candidates are also invited to apply for admission into the university.

Applicants must possess any of the following qualifications:

  • Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND)
  • Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • First Degree
  • Advanced Level (‘A’ Level)
  • Other relevant equivalent qualifications in the appropriate disciplines and subjects

Candidates should ensure that their qualifications are relevant to the course for which they are applying.

O’Level Result Upload Requirements

All applicants must ensure that their qualifying O’Level results have been uploaded to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal.

This requirement is mandatory for admission consideration.

Candidates awaiting the release of their O’Level results may still apply. However, they must upload their results to the JAMB portal immediately after they are released.

The university has stated that candidates who fail to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal will not be considered for admission.

Guidelines for Candidates Awaiting Results

Applicants awaiting O’Level results are eligible to register for the screening exercise.

Once the results become available, candidates must upload them to the JAMB portal without delay.

In addition, DELSU requires candidates to upload their O’Level results or verify their A’Level qualifications and obtain clearance through NEPED before admission can be processed.

Yes. Candidates who did not initially choose Delta State University, Abraka, as their first-choice institution may still apply, provided they meet the required UTME cut-off mark.

Such candidates must change their first-choice institution to DELSU through the JAMB portal before the Post UTME application closes. The university stated that this change should be completed before the 30 June 2026 deadline.
