Applications are invited from suitably qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into the university’s undergraduate degree programmes.
Candidates who did not initially choose Bingham University as their first-choice institution are required to complete a Change of Institution through the JAMB portal and upload their O’Level results before they can be considered for admission.

The 2026/2027 admission exercise is open to candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate programmes offered by Bingham University.

Eligibility for Bingham University Post UTME
Candidates applying through UTME must meet the following requirements:
- Have participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Score a minimum of 150 in the UTME.
- Possess at least five relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates who did not select Bingham University as their first-choice institution must complete a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal before admission can be considered.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Direct Entry applicants must:
- Have completed the JAMB Direct Entry registration.
- Possess at least five relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Hold any of the following acceptable qualifications:
- IJMB
- NCE
- National Diploma (ND) with at least Lower Credit
- Cambridge A’Level results
Note: Direct Entry admission is not available for the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) programme during the 2026/2027 academic session.
Bingham University Screening Process
The university will not conduct a physical Post UTME screening for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.
Admission screening will be based entirely on the documents uploaded by applicants. Candidates are therefore advised to upload clear and legible documents, as poor-quality uploads may affect admission consideration.
The university also warns that any candidate who submits false information or uploads fake documents will be automatically disqualified.
Can Candidates Awaiting Results Apply?
Yes. Candidates awaiting their O’Level results are eligible to apply.
However, they must return to the application portal to upload their results once they become available. Only applicants with complete results and all required documents uploaded will be considered for admission.

Applicants should complete their application through the Bingham University admission portal by following these steps:

- Create an account if you are a new applicant.

- Activate your account and log in to the portal.
