Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education Post UTME/DE Screening Form for 2026/2027 [UPDATED]; Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education (AIFUE), Owerri, has commenced registration for its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for admission into undergraduate degree programmes.

The screening exercise is open to qualified candidates seeking admission into programmes offered under the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Specialised Education, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, Faculty of Sciences, and Faculty of Vocational and Technology Education.

Eligibility for AIFUE Post UTME Screening

Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply for the AIFUE Post UTME screening exercise.

Applicants must also ensure that their qualifying O’Level results have been uploaded to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Failure to upload the required results to JAMB CAPS will result in disqualification from the admission process.

Eligibility for Direct Entry Screening

Candidates applying through Direct Entry must possess any of the following qualifications in relevant disciplines:

• NCE
• OND
• HND
• First Degree
• A’ Level
• Other equivalent qualifications

Applicants under this category should select the Direct Entry option while completing the online screening form.

Important Requirements Before Applying

Before beginning the application process, candidates should:

• Confirm their JAMB UTME score or Direct Entry qualification.
• Ensure their qualifying O’Level results have been uploaded to JAMB CAPS.
• Verify their admission status and application details before submitting the screening form.

Candidates Who Did Not Choose AIFUE as First Choice

Candidates who did not initially choose Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education as their first-choice institution can still apply.

Such candidates must first visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre or any JAMB office in Nigeria, including the Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education CBT Centre, to change their institution of first choice to Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri.

How to Apply for AIFUE Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening

Applicants are required to complete their registration through the University’s online portal.

Application Steps

Follow the steps below to complete the application successfully:

1. Visit the Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education website.
2. Click Portal to access the AIFUE portal.
3. Select Online Screening Form (Post UTME or Direct Entry).
4. Select or tick the appropriate option.
5. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
6. Click Proceed.
7. Complete the profile form with accurate information.
8. Select your programme type:
   • Degree Regular
   • Direct Entry/Post NCE
9. Click Submit.
10. Click Print Invoice.
11. Pay the screening fee of ₦2,000 through Remita at Alvana Microfinance Bank or any commercial bank of your choice.
12. Return to the AIFUE portal after payment.
13. Complete the registration process.
14. Upload all required documents.
15. Click Submit.
16. Print the Success Page as proof of successful registration.

Screening Application Fee

The AIFUE Post UTME and Direct Entry screening application fee is ₦2,000.

Payment should be made through Remita after printing the invoice from the portal. Candidates can make payment at Alvana Microfinance Bank or any other bank of their choice.
