Afe Babalola University Opens Undergraduate Admission for 2026/2027 Academic Session; Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the undergraduate programmes of Afe Babalola University for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The university offers admission into various colleges and departments across Medicine, Law, Engineering, Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts, and Health Sciences.

Admission Requirements for ABUAD Undergraduate Programmes

General Requirements

Applicants must possess a current UTME result for the admission year.

Requirements for Law

Candidates seeking admission into the College of Law must possess five O’Level credit passes in one sitting, including:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Literature in English
  • Two other Arts or Social Science subjects

Accepted examinations include:

  • WAEC
  • NECO
  • GCE
  • NABTEB
  • IGCSE

Requirements for Medicine and Surgery (MBBS)

Candidates applying for MBBS must possess five O’Level credit passes in one sitting, including:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Biology

Requirements for Other Programmes

Applicants for other programmes must possess five O’Level credit passes in not more than two sittings, including:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Three relevant subjects related to the course of study

Past UTME results are not accepted for admission.

Candidates awaiting SSCE results or equivalent qualifications can also apply, provided they meet the admission requirements once results are released.

Application Fees

Candidates Who Chose ABUAD in UTME

Applicants who selected ABUAD in UTME are required to pay:

  • ₦2,000 for the admission application form
  • ₦5,000 as screening fee

Direct Entry and Inter-University Transfer Applicants

Direct Entry and transfer application forms cost ₦10,500 each.

Change of Institution Process

Candidates who did not initially choose ABUAD in UTME can still apply for admission.

Such candidates are required to:

  • Purchase a Change of Institution Form from the university at ₦3,500
  • Pay ₦2,000 for the admission application form
  • Pay ₦5,000 as screening fee
  • Obtain an official Change of Institution through JAMB
