AE-FUNAI Post UTME and DE Form 2026/2027

AE-FUNAI Post UTME and DE Form 2026/2027; Alex Ekwueme Federal University has started registration for its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.

The registration portal opened on Monday, 25 May 2026, and will close on Tuesday, 30 June 2026. Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME and selected AE-FUNAI as first choice can apply for the screening exercise.

Candidates who did not initially choose AE-FUNAI as first choice may still apply, but they must change their institution or course to AE-FUNAI through the JAMB portal before the registration deadline.

Who Can Apply for AE-FUNAI Post UTME Screening?

Candidates are eligible for the AE-FUNAI screening exercise if they:

  • Chose AE-FUNAI as first choice during UTME registration
  • Scored the required cut-off mark for their chosen course
  • Possess the required O’Level results
  • Upload their O’Level or Direct Entry results on JAMB CAPS before the deadline

Direct Entry candidates are also required to change to AE-FUNAI as first choice if they did not originally choose the university.

AE-FUNAI Courses and Cut-Off Marks for 2026/2027

AE-FUNAI has released different minimum screening scores for its undergraduate courses.

While many programmes accept candidates with 150 and above, competitive courses such as Medicine, Nursing, Law and Medical Laboratory Science require higher scores.

AE-FUNAI O’Level Requirements

Candidates applying for:

  • Medicine and Surgery
  • Law
  • Nursing Science
  • Medical Laboratory Science

must present O’Level results obtained in one sitting.

Other applicants should meet the UTME and O’Level subject combinations listed for their courses on the university website.

AE-FUNAI also warned that candidates who provide false information at any stage of the admission process will be disqualified.

AE-FUNAI ICT Centres for Registration

Candidates who wish to complete registration physically can visit any of the following ICT centres:

  • University CBT Centre at Zone A, University Campus
  • Centre for Educational Services, JUPEB/Pre-Degree School, Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki

Applicants are advised to use active phone numbers during registration because the university may contact candidates during the screening process.

AE-FUNAI Screening Fee

Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of ₦2,000 only.

Payment and registration should be completed through the university portal.

How to Apply for AE-FUNAI Post UTME and Direct Entry Form

Candidates should follow the steps below to complete the application:

  1. Visit the AE-FUNAI website.
  2. Click “Admissions” on the top menu.
  3. Select “Apply Now”.
  4. Enter the JAMB registration number to validate the profile.
  5. Provide a valid email address and phone number.
  6. Verify the email address using the OTP sent to the email.
  7. Make payment by transferring the exact amount to the account number displayed on the portal.
  8. Click “I have made payment” after payment.
  9. Continue with the registration process.
  10. Check the email address for registration acknowledgement.

AE-FUNAI Screening Mode for 2026/2027

AE-FUNAI will conduct admission screening through internal screening of results.

Candidates must upload their O’Level and Direct Entry results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) before Tuesday, 30 June 2026.

The university stated clearly that candidates who fail to upload their results on JAMB CAPS will not be considered for admission.

AE-FUNAI Registration Closing Date

The registration portal will close on Tuesday, 30 June 2026.

Candidates are encouraged to complete their applications early to avoid issues linked to network delay or late registration.
