SAZU Directs 2026/2027 Admission Applicants to Update JAMB Records; Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Bauchi State, has directed candidates seeking admission for the 2026/2027 academic session who have completed physical screening but have yet to accept their admission offers to update their records on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal.
The directive requires affected candidates to complete the necessary updates to their admission records to enable them to accept and download their admission documents.
Actions Required from Affected SAZU Candidates
Candidates who fall into this category are required to complete the following steps on the JAMB portal:
- Upload O’Level examination results: Candidates must upload their Ordinary Level (O’Level) results from any of the recognised examination bodies: the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), National Examinations Council (NECO), National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), or National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS). - Make approved changes of course: Candidates whose courses were changed during physical screening must update their records on JAMB. The JAMB change of course or institution guide provides further instructions.
- Accept admission on JAMB CAPS: Affected candidates must complete the required steps to accept their admission through JAMB CAPS.
- Download the admission letter: After completing the necessary admission steps, candidates should download their JAMB admission letter.
Failure to Comply May Lead to Loss of Admission
Sa’adu Zungur University has warned that candidates who fail to comply with the directive risk forfeiting their admission offers.
Affected applicants are therefore advised to ensure that their O’Level results, approved course changes and admission acceptance status are properly updated on the JAMB portal.
