DELSU Post UTME and Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 [UPATED]; Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has commenced the sale of its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the university’s undergraduate programmes.

Candidates who selected DELSU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and scored 150 or above are eligible to apply. Candidates who did not initially choose DELSU as their first choice may also apply after changing their institution to Delta State University through JAMB.

DELSU Post UTME Eligibility Requirements

UTME candidates are eligible to apply if they:

  • Selected Delta State University, Abraka as their first-choice institution.
  • Scored 150 or above in the 2026 UTME.

Candidates who selected another institution as their first choice can still apply after changing their first-choice institution to DELSU through the JAMB portal before the application deadline.

How to Apply for DELSU Post UTME

Eligible candidates should complete their application online by following these steps:

  1. Visit the DELSU Post UTME application portal.
  2. Click “POST UTME 2026/2027” to access the Purchase Form page.
  3. Click “Start Form.”
  4. Enter your JAMB registration number.
  5. Complete the application form.
  6. Pay the ₦2,000 application fee.
  7. Enter your O’Level results and guardian’s information.
  8. Upload a recent passport photograph.
  9. Submit the completed application.
  10. Print the completed application form and keep it for future reference.

Applicants are advised to keep the printed copy safely, as it serves as evidence of successful registration.

DELSU Post UTME Application Fee

The application fee for the DELSU Post UTME screening is ₦2,000.

The screening notice does not mention any additional charges. Candidates should follow the payment instructions provided on the university’s application portal.

Information for Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry candidates are also invited to apply under the same admission exercise.

Applicants must possess any of the following qualifications in relevant disciplines:

  • National Certificate in Education (NCE)
  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND)
  • Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • First Degree
  • Advanced Level (‘A’ Level)
  • Other relevant equivalent qualifications

Candidates should ensure that their qualifications are relevant to their intended course of study before submitting their application.

O’Level Result Upload Requirement

All applicants must ensure that their qualifying results have been uploaded to the JAMB portal.

This is a mandatory requirement for admission consideration.

Candidates awaiting O’Level results may apply, but they must upload their results to the JAMB portal immediately after they are released.

The university has stated that candidates who fail to upload their results to the JAMB portal will not be considered for admission.

Candidates Awaiting O’Level Results

Applicants awaiting O’Level results are eligible to apply.

However, once the results are available, they must:

  • Upload the O’Level results to the JAMB portal.
  • Verify their Advanced Level qualifications where applicable.
  • Obtain clearance from NEPED before admission.

Completing the Post UTME application alone does not satisfy these additional admission requirements.

Applicants are advised to:

  • Use an active phone number.
  • Provide a valid and accessible email address.

Can Candidates Who Did Not Choose DELSU Apply?

Yes.

Candidates who did not initially choose Delta State University as their first-choice institution can still apply, provided they:

  • Meet the minimum UTME score requirement of 150.
  • Change their first-choice institution to DELSU through the JAMB portal before the application process closes.

The screening notice also states that the change of institution should be completed before the 30 June 2026 deadline.
