Documents Required for AKSU Post UTME/DE Registration

Candidates should prepare the documents applicable to their admission route before beginning the online registration.

UTME candidates

UTME applicants should have:

  • 2026 UTME Result Slip
  • Birth Certificate
  • Certificate of Origin
  • AKSU PUTME/DE Registration Confirmation Slip for 2026

Direct Entry candidates

Direct Entry applicants should provide:

The documents should be scanned and uploaded according to the university’s specified format and size requirements.

AKSU Document Upload Format and Size

AKSU requires scanned documents uploaded during the screening registration to be in JPG format.

Each uploaded file should be:

  • Minimum size: 120KB
  • Maximum size: 150KB
  • Format: .jpg

Candidates should resize or compress their documents appropriately before beginning the upload process to avoid problems during registration.

Depending on the admission route, the documents uploaded may include the 2026 UTME Result Slip, 2026 DE Registration Details Slip, relevant A-Level/NCE/ND/HND certificate, Birth Certificate and Certificate of Origin.

Applicants should also preview their application before clicking “Finish”.

AKSU Application Fee

The AKSU Post UTME/Direct Entry screening registration fee is ₦2,000, excluding bank charges.

Candidates can make payment online using:

  • Debit card; or
  • Bank transfer.

Payment should be completed through the official screening portal as part of the registration process.

Candidates should avoid making admission or screening payments to individuals or unofficial agents.

Candidates with Awaiting Results Can Apply

Candidates whose O’Level results are still awaiting can apply for the AKSU screening exercise.

However, their WAEC or NECO O’Level results must be properly uploaded to the JAMB portal/CAPS through a JAMB-approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.

The awaiting-result provision therefore does not eliminate the requirement to have the relevant O’Level result correctly uploaded to JAMB CAPS.

Candidates who need to complete the process can consult the relevant JAMB O’Level result upload guide.

AKSU Admission Offers Must Be Accepted Within Four Weeks

Candidates who receive approved admission offers from AKSU are expected to accept the offers within four weeks.

An approved admission that is not accepted within the specified four-week period may be deleted, and the candidate may be placed under the “refusal to accept” category.

According to the stated admission conditions, candidates placed in this category may become ineligible for admission again.

Candidates who receive admission should therefore monitor their admission status carefully and accept their offer within the required period.

AKSU Warns Candidates Against Admission Agents

AKSU has warned candidates that the university does not have individuals or sales agents acting on its behalf for admission.

Candidates who deal with individuals or make admission-related payments into personal accounts do so at their own risk.

Applicants should complete their screening registration through the official university portal and rely on official AKSU channels for admission information.
