Gombe State University Post UTME/Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 Admission; Gombe State University (GSU) has commenced online registration for its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.

The screening is open to candidates who applied for admission into the university’s undergraduate degree programmes, selected Gombe State University as their first-choice institution on the JAMB portal and meet the required UTME or Direct Entry admission requirements.

GSU Post UTME/Direct Entry Registration Dates

Online registration for the 2026/2027 screening exercise will commence on Wednesday, 1 July 2026 and close on Friday, 31 July 2026.

Eligible candidates are advised to complete their registration within the registration period, as the screening exercise forms part of the admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Eligibility for GSU Post UTME Screening

Candidates are eligible to participate in the Post UTME screening if they:

  • Chose Gombe State University as their first-choice institution on the JAMB portal.
  • Obtained the required UTME score for their chosen course of study.

The minimum UTME score varies depending on the programme.

Eligibility for GSU Direct Entry Screening

Direct Entry applicants who possess any of the following qualifications are eligible to apply:

  • NCE
  • IJMB
  • Advanced Level GCE
  • Diploma

The qualification presented must be relevant to the course the candidate intends to study at Gombe State University.

GSU Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Fee

Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.

Payment should be made through the university’s online screening portal.

How to Register for GSU Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening

Candidates should complete their registration through the official GSU admission screening portal by following these steps:

  1. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Get Details.”
  2. Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee online using any of the available payment options, including:
    • ATM card
    • Debit card
    • Credit card
    • Bank transfer
    • USSD
    • Visa QR
  3. Complete the form to create a Post UTME/Direct Entry screening account.
  4. Click “Register.”
  5. Verify the candidate information displayed on the portal.
  6. Click “Generate Data Form.”
  7. Download and print the generated PDF document.

Contents of the Generated Screening PDF

The PDF generated after successful registration contains two pages:

  • Page One: Candidate’s registration details.
  • Page Two: Post UTME Computer-Based Test (CBT) Examination Card.

Candidates are expected to print both pages after completing the registration process.

Documents Required for Physical Screening

After registration, candidates should:

  • Attach photocopies of all their academic credentials to Page One of the printed PDF.
  • Submit the documents to the department they applied for during physical screening.
  • Present the original copies of all credentials for verification.

The university has instructed candidates to complete the physical screening immediately after completing the online registration.

Important Information

Candidates should carefully review all personal information before submitting their registration.

The university has stated that State of Origin, Local Government Area and Date of Birth cannot be changed after registration and screening. Applicants are therefore advised to ensure that these details are accurate before completing the application.
