Capital City University Kano Cut-Off Marks for 2026/2027 Admission Exercise

Capital City University Kano (CCUK) has released the official cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 admission exercise. The approved cut-off marks apply to candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate programmes offered by the university.

The released cut-off marks cover programmes under the Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Science and Computing, and the College of Management and Social Sciences. The university has also provided the approved JAMB subject combinations and O’Level requirements for each programme.

CCUK Cut-Off Marks for 2026/2027 Admission

The approved JAMB cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 admission exercise range from 150 to 180, depending on the programme.

  • Pharm D has the highest cut-off mark of 180.
  • Programmes under the Faculty of Health Sciences have a cut-off mark of 170.
  • Programmes in the Faculty of Science and Computing and the College of Management and Social Sciences have a cut-off mark of 150.

Important Information Before Choosing a Course

Before applying for the CCUK Post-UTME screening exercise, candidates should carefully check the following:

  • The faculty offering their preferred programme.
  • The exact programme they intend to study.
  • The approved JAMB subject combination.
  • The required O’Level credit passes.

Meeting the required JAMB cut-off mark alone does not guarantee eligibility. Candidates must also satisfy the approved subject combination and O’Level requirements for their chosen course before they can participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise.

Faculty of Pharmacy Cut-Off Mark

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D)

  • Programme: Pharm D
  • JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 180
  • JAMB Subject Combination: English Language, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
  • O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

Faculty of Health Sciences Cut-Off Marks

All programmes under the Faculty of Health Sciences have a cut-off mark of 170.

Doctor of Physiotherapy

  • Programme: Doctor of Physiotherapy
  • JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 170
  • JAMB Subject Combination: English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Physics.
  • O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

BNSc Nursing Science

  • Programme: BNSc Nursing Science
  • JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 170
  • JAMB Subject Combination: English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Physics.
  • O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

B.Rad Radiography

  • Programme: B.Rad Radiography

  • JAMB Subject Combination: English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Physics.

B.MLS Medical Laboratory Science

  • JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 170
  • JAMB Subject Combination: English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Physics.
  • O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

Faculty of Science and Computing Cut-Off Marks

All programmes under the Faculty of Science and Computing have a cut-off mark of 150.

Computer Science and Related Programmes

The following programmes have a cut-off mark of 150:

  • B.Sc Computer Science
  • B.Sc Software Engineering
  • B.Sc Cyber Security
  • B.Sc Digital Entrepreneurship

JAMB Subject Combination:

English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and one of the following:

  • Chemistry
  • Economics
  • Biology

O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

Biological Sciences Programmes

The following programmes have a cut-off mark of 150:

  • B.Sc Biotechnology
  • B.Sc Forensic Science
  • B.Sc Microbiology

JAMB Subject Combination:

English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or Mathematics.

O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

B.Sc Physics with Electronics

  • JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 150
  • JAMB Subject Combination: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and either Chemistry or Biology.
  • O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

B.Sc Mathematics

  • JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 150
  • JAMB Subject Combination: English Language, Mathematics, and any two of the following:
    • Chemistry
    • Physics
    • Economics
    • Biology
    • Agricultural Science
  • O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

B.Sc Industrial Chemistry

  • JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 150
  • JAMB Subject Combination: English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or Mathematics.
  • O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

College of Management and Social Sciences Cut-Off Marks

All programmes under the College of Management and Social Sciences have a cut-off mark of 150.

B.Sc Economics

  • JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 150
  • JAMB Subject Combination: English Language and any of the following:
    • Government
    • Geography
    • Literature
    • French
    • History
    • CRK/IRK
  • O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and two other Social Science subjects.

Political Science and International Relations

The following programmes have a cut-off mark of 150:

  • B.Sc Political Science
  • B.Sc International Relations

JAMB Subject Combination:

English Language, Government or History, plus two other Social Science or Arts subjects.

O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

B.Sc Criminology and Security Studies

  • JAMB Cut-Off Mark: 150
  • JAMB Subject Combination: English Language, Government or History, plus two other Social Science or Arts subjects.
  • O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

Business Administration Programmes

The following programmes have a cut-off mark of 150:

  • B.Sc Business Management
  • B.Sc Entrepreneurship
  • B.Sc Procurement Management
  • B.Sc Film Production

JAMB Subject Combination:

English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other Social Science subject.

O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

Accounting, Banking and Finance Programmes

The following programmes have a cut-off mark of 150:

  • B.Sc Accounting
  • B.Sc Banking and Finance
  • B.Sc Islamic Banking
  • B.Sc Insurance

JAMB Subject Combination:

English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other Social Science subject. Candidates applying for B.Sc Islamic Banking must also have IRK as required.

O’Level Requirement: Five credit passes, including the four JAMB subjects and one other relevant subject.

B.Sc Hospitality and Tourism Management

Eligibility for CCUK Post-UTME Screening

Candidates who meet the approved JAMB cut-off mark for their chosen programme will be eligible to participate in the Capital City University Kano Post-UTME screening exercise.
