Kogi State Polytechnic Opens Post-UTME Registration for 2026/2027 ND Admission. Thousands of candidates who scored 100 and above in the 2026 UTME now have another admission opportunity as Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, begins Post-UTME registration for its 2026/2027 National Diploma (ND) full-time programmes.

The polytechnic has fixed 25 May 2026 to 30 June 2026 as the official registration window for eligible candidates seeking admission into its various schools and departments.

Unlike many institutions that set higher benchmarks, Kogi State Polytechnic is accepting candidates with a minimum UTME score of 100, making it one of the more accessible public polytechnics currently admitting students for the new academic session.

Kogi State Polytechnic Post-UTME Registration Dates

According to the admission notice, online registration opened on Monday, 25 May 2026, and will remain available until Tuesday, 30 June 2026.

Candidates are advised not to wait until the closing days before completing their applications, as late registrations will not be entertained.

Who Can Apply?

The polytechnic says applicants must satisfy both UTME and O’Level requirements before they can be considered for admission.

To qualify, candidates must:

  • Score at least 100 in the 2026 UTME
  • Choose Kogi State Polytechnic as an institution during UTME registration
  • Possess at least five O’Level credits
  • Include English Language and Mathematics among the required credits
  • Obtain the credits in not more than two sittings

The institution also noted that candidates must ensure their UTME subject combination matches the requirements of their intended programme.

Awaiting-Result Candidates Are Eligible

Candidates whose WAEC, NECO or NABTEB results are not yet available can still submit applications.

First-Choice Candidates Will Have an Advantage

Although candidates who meet the minimum requirements may apply, the institution says preference will be given to applicants who selected Kogi State Polytechnic as their first-choice institution during UTME registration.

Applicants are also expected to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal as part of the admission process.

The polytechnic has warned candidates against dealing with unofficial admission agents.

According to the institution, all applications must be completed through the official admission channel, and no third party has been authorised to process admissions on its behalf.
