Sule Lamido University IJMB Admission Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session; Sule Lamido University has commenced online applications for its Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The programme is coordinated by the School of Preliminary and Continuing Education under the Office of the Director. Interested candidates are advised to review the admission requirements, application dates, screening fee and required documents before beginning the registration process.

SLU IJMB Admission Requirements

Applicants must possess at least five O’Level credit passes in SSCE or its equivalent.

The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings. Subject requirements also depend on the study category selected by the candidate.

The subject conditions are as follows:

  • Arts candidates must include English Language.
  • Science candidates must include Mathematics.
  • Social and Management Sciences candidates must include either English Language or Mathematics.

Candidates are advised to select the study group that aligns with their intended university course.

SLU IJMB Application Dates

Sule Lamido University has announced the official application timeline for the 2026/2027 IJMB programme.

  • Application begins: Monday, 1 June 2026
  • Application closes: Monday, 29 June 2026

Applicants should complete and submit their forms before the closing date.

How to Apply for SLU IJMB Admission Form

Candidates are required to complete the application online through the SLU SPACE Application Portal.

Follow these steps to apply:

  1. Visit the SLU SPACE application portal and select the IJMBE Programme.
  2. Create a user profile.
  3. Log in using the registered email address and password.
  4. Upload a passport photograph and complete the profile update.
  5. Select the preferred option: IJMBE Arts, Science or Social Sciences.
  6. Fill in O’Level results and subject combinations.
  7. Generate a payment invoice or choose the Pay Direct option.
  8. Pay the non-refundable IJMBE screening fee of ₦3,000, excluding REMITA charges, through REMITA on the SLU admission portal.
  9. Generate and print the acknowledgement slip.

Applicants should carefully review their names, passport photograph, O’Level entries and subject combinations before final submission.

Documents Required for SLU IJMB Screening

Candidates are expected to present both original copies and photocopies of the following documents during the physical screening exercise:

  • Acknowledgement Slip
  • Evidence of payment or RRR receipt
  • WAEC, SSCE, NECO Statement of Result or equivalent
  • Two recent passport photographs with white background
  • Certificate of Indigeneship
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age

Candidates should keep all documents safe and ready before the screening date.
