Augustine University Begins Admission for 2026/2027 Academic Session; Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Augustine University for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Categories of Applicants

UTME Applicants

Prospective candidates seeking admission into Augustine University must:

  • Be at least 16 years old by October of the admission year
  • Have completed their secondary school education
  • Possess a minimum of five O’Level credit passes in one or two sittings in WAEC, GCE, NECO, or equivalent examinations

The required subjects must include:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • At least three other subjects relevant to the intended course of study

Candidates awaiting SSCE or GCE results are also eligible to apply.

Applicants must have selected Augustine University as their first choice institution in the UTME for the admission year.

Candidates who did not initially choose Augustine University as first choice can still apply, but they must process a Change of Institution through the JAMB portal before the screening exercise, since JAMB is the body responsible for granting admission into Nigerian universities.

Direct Entry Applicants

Direct Entry candidates can also apply if they possess any of the following qualifications:

  • OND
  • A’Level
  • JUPEB
  • Equivalent qualifications

Applicants must also obtain the Direct Entry form for the admission year through JAMB.

Transfer Applicants

Candidates seeking inter-university transfer admission must present the admission letter from their previous university to qualify for the transfer admission process.

How to Apply for Augustine University Admission

Applicants are advised to carefully follow the admission application process below.

Step 1

Visit the university admission portal through the official application link below:

On the homepage, click on “Undergraduate Admission Portal.”

Step 3

Read the application instructions carefully before proceeding.

Step 4

Click on “Create Account.”

Step 5

Select your preferred programme type:

  • UTME
  • Direct Entry
  • Transfer
  • JUPEB
  • Part-Time

Step 6

Fill in the required details and create your account.

Step 7

Log in with your details and click on “Pay with Remita” to generate your RRR number and complete payment for the application form.

Step 8

After successful payment, proceed to fill out the application form.

Step 9

Scroll to the bottom of the page and make payment for O’Level result verification through the Remita platform.

Step 10

After successful payment, applicants will be prompted to:

  • Fill in their O’Level result details
  • Provide JAMB details
  • Upload required documents

Step 11

Click on “Submit” to complete the application process.

A confirmation pop-up stating “Application Submitted” will appear on the screen after successful submission.

Important Notice for Payment Issues

Candidates who were debited but noticed that their portal payment status was not updated should follow these steps:

  1. Log into the portal
  2. Scroll to “Resolve Payment” on the left-hand side
  3. Locate the RRR number on the Remita receipt among the payment attempts
  4. Click “Check Status”
  5. If payment has been approved, click the provided link to automatically update the portal status

Screening Information

After completing the application process successfully, applicants will be contacted by the university through their registered email address regarding the screening exercise.
