NDA 78 Regular Course Deadline Extended to 15 May 2026; he Nigerian Defence Academy has extended the deadline for the sale of application forms for its 78 Regular Course, giving prospective candidates additional time to complete their applications.
The earlier closing date of 30 April 2026 has now been moved to 15 May 2026, allowing more eligible candidates the opportunity to apply.
NDA Extends 78 Regular Course Form Deadline
In a statement issued by the Academy Registrar, the Nigerian Defence Academy explained that the deadline extension is intended to give more eligible candidates enough time to complete their application process.
The new deadline for the sale of application forms is 15 May 2026, replacing the previous deadline of 30 April 2026.
Requirements Applicants Must Still Meet
The Academy has stated that applicants must still meet all required conditions despite the extension.
Candidates are required to register with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and select the Nigerian Defence Academy as their first-choice institution.
Applicants must also sit for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as part of the admission process.
Who Can Apply
Admission into the 78 Regular Course is open to both male and female Nigerian citizens who meet the required eligibility criteria.

The Academy also announced that a compendium of past questions is available to interested candidates.
