The dates were announced for candidates participating in the current recruitment exercise. The Computer-Based Aptitude Test will run nationwide within the three-day period from 28 April to 30 April 2026.
According to a statement issued by the Sokoto State Police Command, the update was shared by Ahmad Rufa’i, the Police Public Relations Officer.
He explained that the CBT is a critical stage in the recruitment exercise and is designed to ensure that only suitably qualified candidates are recruited into the Nigeria Police Force.

The duration of the test in each state will depend on two key factors:
- The number of candidates in each state
- The number of functional CBT centres available
