Eligibility Criteria
General Requirements
- Non-Chinese citizens in good health, law-abiding, and with no criminal record
- Must meet the basic admission requirements for international students at the China University of Petroleum
English-Taught Majors
- Undergraduate: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 75+, or equivalent; strong Chinese proficiency preferred
- Graduate: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 80+, or equivalent; strong Chinese proficiency preferred
- Applicants from countries where English is the official language are exempt from English proficiency requirements
Chinese-Taught Majors
- Undergraduate: HSK-4 score of 222+
- Postgraduate: HSK-5 or above
Degree & Age Requirements
- Undergraduate: High school graduate under 25 years
- Master’s: Bachelor’s degree holder under 35 years
- Doctorate: Master’s degree holder under 45 years
