2026 Erasmus Mundus AFEPA Scholarship/ Germany/ Sweden/ Italy/ Belgium; The Erasmus Mundus AFEPA Scholarship offers an exceptional opportunity for outstanding students worldwide to pursue a fully funded Master’s programme in Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Policy Analysis (AFEPA). This program brings together four leading European universities, providing students with a double degree and an international learning experience focused on agri-food systems, environmental policy, and economic development.

The scholarship is fully funded and covers tuition fees, travel, visa costs, and a monthly living stipend of €1,400 throughout the two-year study period.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission into the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Programme in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Policy Analysis (AFEPA), applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Educational Qualification:
    • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (minimum three years of undergraduate study or 180 ECTS credits).
    • Applicants must have an overall average grade of at least a “B” or equivalent.
    • Students in their final year of undergraduate study may apply provisionally, provided they complete their degree before enrollment.
  2. Academic Background:
    • A minimum of 24 ECTS credits in economics, including microeconomics, management, mathematics, and statistics.
    • Background in agricultural, environmental, or food sciences is an added advantage.
    • Applicants must ensure their transcript indicates ECTS credit points or include a diploma supplement explaining their credit system.
  3. English Language Proficiency:
    • TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 90, with at least 20 in the writing section.
    • IELTS: Minimum overall band score of 6.5, with no section below 5.5.
    • Equivalent English test scores may be accepted with prior approval from the AFEPA Management Board.
    • Applicants from English-speaking countries must provide an official letter from their university confirming English as the language of instruction.
