In a statement released by the university, FUD clarified that the admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session is still ongoing, and that the first batch of admissions has not yet been released.
Beware of Admission Scams
The university cautioned applicants, parents, and guardians to be vigilant and avoid falling victim to fraudulent individuals or platforms spreading false information about admissions. It emphasized that all official updates on admission releases will only be communicated through the university’s official website and verified social media handles.

The disclaimer was signed by Abdullahi Yahaya Bello, Acting Director of Public Affairs, on behalf of the university management.
The statement further urged the public to disregard any unofficial posts or messages and to verify all admission-related information directly from the university’s recognized communication channels to avoid being misled by scammers.
