KWASU Approved Academic Calendar for 2025/2026 Session. The management of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has officially released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session. The announcement followed the institution’s 63rd Regular Senate Meeting.
According to the Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, the calendar outlines major academic activities for both the Harmattan and Rain Semesters. Staff, students, and the entire university community are strongly advised to adhere strictly to the schedule.
Harmattan Semester 2025/2026
- September 29 – October 18, 2025: Online Registration and Orientation Start
- October 19, 2025: End of Registration (Returning Students)
- October 20 – November 22, 2025: Late Registration (Returning Students)
- October 20, 2025: Lectures Begin
- October 31, 2025: End of Registration (Fresh Students)
- December 4, 2025: Undergraduate Matriculation Day
- December 15 – 20, 2025: Continuous Assessment (CA) Week
- December 22 – 23, 2025: Mid-Semester Break
- January 10, 2026: Lectures End
- January 12 – 17, 2026: Revision Week
- January 19 – February 14, 2026: Examinations
- February 24 – March 12, 2026: Results Processing and Approval
Rain Semester 2025/2026
- March 16 – 30, 2026: Add/Drop
