FUOYE Releases Academic Calendar for 2025/2026 Session; The Federal University, Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) has officially approved its academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session, marking the beginning of another year of academic excellence, innovation, and transformative learning at the institution.
According to a release signed by the University Registrar, Mr. Mufutau Ibrahim, and made public through the University’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Foluso Ogunmodede, the new session will officially commence on Monday, October 6, 2025, with the arrival of both fresh and returning students to their respective halls of residence.
FUOYE Resumption Date for 2025/2026 Session
In the official statement, Mr. Ibrahim emphasized that:
“This is to inform all students that the university management has approved Monday, 6th October, 2025 as the official date of resumption for the 2025/2026 academic session. All students are advised to take note of this date and comply accordingly.”
The university further reiterated its commitment to ensuring a structured and flexible academic year that would foster intellectual growth, innovation, and holistic student development.
Hostel Accommodation for Returning Students
Meanwhile, the Office of the Students Affairs has announced the procedures for 2025/2026 hostel accommodation allocations for returning students. According to the Students Affairs Officer, Mr. J.O. Adeyemo, all allocated students must follow the steps below:
- Activation of Hostel Portal – The student portal will be open for hostel payments from Wednesday, 24th September, 2025.
- Confirm Allocation – Students who applied for hostel spaces should confirm their allocation status via the student portal starting from the same date.
- Make Payment – Pay for hostel allocation through the student portal.
- Payment Verification – Present proof of payment at the Students Affairs Division.
- Obtain Hostel Dues Account Number – Collect this from the Students Affairs Division.
- Pay Hostel Dues – Deposit the prescribed fee into the Hostel Dues account.
- Submit Receipts – Provide photocopies of both the hostel allocation fee receipt and hostel dues receipt to collect the Hostel Code of Conduct (HCC) Booklet. The booklet contains the undertaking form, room, and bed space number.
- Make Photocopies – Produce two photocopies of the page in the HCC Booklet containing your room number.
- Submit Copies – Submit one copy to the Hostel Accommodation Officer at the Students Affairs Division.
- Check-In – Present the other copy to the Hostel Supervisor at your allocated hostel for check-in.
The university hostels will officially open to receive students on Monday, October 6, 2025.
