NSUK Senate Approves 9 New Postgraduate Programmes; The Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has expanded its academic offerings with the approval of nine (9) new postgraduate programmes. This approval was granted by the University Senate during its 130th Regular Meeting held on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
This development demonstrates NSUK’s commitment to providing advanced education and cutting-edge research opportunities in critical and emerging fields.

Newly Approved Postgraduate Programmes

According to Barrister Ramatu Ahmed Liman, Head of Academic Affairs and Senior Deputy Registrar, most of the newly approved programmes will be domiciled in the Ibrahim Jibril Institute for the Built Technology.
The approved programmes include:

- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sustainable Built Environment
- Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Sustainable Built Environment
- Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Sustainable Built Environment
- Master in Sustainable Built Environment
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Sustainable Built Environment
- Master in Project Management
- Master in Construction Management
- Master in Facilities Management
Institute of Governance and Development Studies
- Master in Leadership and Strategic Studies
Centre for Disaster Risk Management and Development Studies
- Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Disaster Risk Management
