This exercise is crucial for all candidates of Lagos State origin who selected LASUED as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and scored a minimum of 170.

Extension of Verification Exercise
Candidates who missed the initial registration for the Independent Indigeneship Verification Exercise now have an additional two weeks to complete the process. The new dates for the exercise are from 22nd August 2024 to 5th September 2024.

How to Apply
Candidates must make payments online through the official LASUED Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (LIIVC) portal.
General Information
- The Independent Indigeneship Verification Exercise is mandatory but does not guarantee admission into LASUED.
- Only candidates of Lagos State origin are eligible for this screening.
- Only those who scored 170 and above in the 2024 UTME are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must be cleared by the LASUED Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (LIIVC) before proceeding to the Post UTME Screening.
- The physical interview will be held at Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hall within the university.
- Old applicants from the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic sessions who were not offered admission must revalidate their Indigeneship Clearance Certificates in person with the screening committee.
- Direct Entry applicants from Lagos State must also participate in this verification exercise to be considered for admission.
- Applicants should avoid making payments to individuals or accounts other than the official LASUED account provided.
