YSU Admission List 2025/2026 Released; The management of Yobe State University (YSU) has officially released the Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who participated in the YSU admission screening exercise are advised to check if their names appear on the Provisional Admission List of successful candidates.
How to Check YSU Admission List on JAMB CAPS
The list of admitted candidates has been uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal. Follow the steps below to check your admission status:
- Visit the JAMB CAPS portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status”.
- Select “Access my CAPS”.
- Click on “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.
- If admitted, your photo and a congratulatory message will appear.
- If not admitted yet, the response will show: “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”
Accepting or Rejecting Your Admission
If you have been offered admission, you must either Accept or Reject the offer.
- Send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- Candidates have four (4) weeks to accept their admission offer. Failure to do so may lead to forfeiture of the admission.
- Candidates who no longer have access to their registered phone numbers should visit any JAMB-accredited centre to complete the process.
Next Steps After Accepting Admission
- Print your JAMB Admission Letter immediately after accepting your admission.
- This document will be required during clearance and registration at Yobe State University.
Important Note for Mobile Phone Users
- Mobile users may not immediately see the Admission Status option on CAPS, as some devices only display the welcome message.
- To view the full page, switch your browser to Desktop Mode.
- It is recommended to use the Google Chrome browser. Simply open the menu and select Request Desktop Site to access the complete portal.
