Entry Requirements and Duration
4-Year Sandwich Degree Programme
Open to NCE and National Diploma holders with:
- A minimum of Merit in NCE in a relevant subject from a recognized institution.
- Five O’ Level credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than two sittings.
- Merit in National Diploma, with the required O’ Level subjects.
5-Year Sandwich Degree Programme
Open to holders of WASCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, Teachers Grade II Certificate, NCE, and National Diploma, with:
- A pass in NCE, plus five O’ Level credits in not more than two sittings.
- Five SSCE O’ Level credits, including Mathematics and English, as required by the course.
- Candidates applying for the 5-Year Programme must write an aptitude test at the university.
Application Process

Step 1: JAMB Registration
- Candidates must register through JAMB State Office and select University of Nigeria, Nsukka as their first-choice institution.
- This ensures that JAMB assigns registration numbers and uploads details to JAMB CAPS.
Step 2: Payment of Processing Fee
- 4-Year Programme: ₦5,000
- 5-Year Programme: ₦10,000
- Candidates must generate a Sandwich Registration Invoice at the UNN Portal and pay at any commercial bank via the Remita platform.
Step 3: Completing the Online Registration
After payment, candidates should:
- Return to the UNN Portal and complete the Sandwich Registration Form.
- Print the completed form and submit it with academic credentials at the Sandwich and Evening Programmes Unit, Registrar’s Department.
Important Information
- The 2025 JAMB Sandwich forms are now available.
- Candidates do not need to sit for the JAMB Examination.
- Payments must be made only through approved university channels.
