UNN releases third batch supplementary admission list 2022/2023

Instructions to Candidates Recommended for Provisional Admission for the 2022/2023 Academic Session:

Candidates admitted in this category are required to adhere to the following steps:

  1. All candidates are STRONGLY advised to URGENTLY upload their O/Level results into the JAMB Portal using a JAMB approved CBT Center if they have not done so. Confirm that the upload has been successfully done in CAPS. Please note that candidates’ admission cannot be processed until the proper upload of O/Level results is completed.
  2. Candidates who were provisionally recommended for admission in courses other than the ones they applied to JAMB (Advert/Shopping or Supplementary) must urgently access JAMB CAPS in an accredited CBT Center. They should change their course from their original courses of application to the courses recommended, print, and drop their admission status from CAPS to the Admissions Office. This step is necessary to ensure they are recommended in CAPS, which is the only authentic way to gain admission.

After complying with steps 1 and 2 above, candidates should proceed as follows:

  • Visit the JAMB Portal and accept your admission on CAPS by clicking “Accept Admission.”
  • Candidates who fail to accept their admission on JAMB CAPS will not be issued a JAMB Admission Letter and will be considered as not admitted.
  • Visit the University of Nigeria website (unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng), log in using your JAMB Registration number to generate and download a Payment Invoice. This invoice will contain a Remita number, which you can use to make the payment at any Commercial Bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.
  • With the Payment Invoice, candidates are requested to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira Only (N30,000.00).
  • Ensure that the Invoice number is accurately entered at the Bank, and obtain a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation number and Invoice number.
  • Return to the University of Nigeria website (unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng) and log in with your JAMB Registration Number, the Confirmation Number, and Invoice Number. Then, print the Admission slip and complete the Acceptance Form online.
  • Proceed with other fee payments and registration as indicated on the University of Nigeria website.

Candidates should be aware that this admission is provisional. If, at any point in the future, including the final year, it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the minimum university and faculty/departmental entry requirements for the course, as prescribed by the University Senate and published in the JAMB Brochure, the admission offer will be revoked.
