UNN promises to discipline students who intentionally seduce lecturers; The University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) has urged students who fling themselves at lecturers with the intention of swapping sex for grades to stop or face punishment.

The university’s vice-chancellor Charles Igwe, gave the warning in Nsukka on Wednesday, April 26, at the university’s first ‘International Conference on Gender and S3Xual Harassment’, organized by the Campus-Campaign Against Sexual Harassment (C-CASH).
He urged students not to intentionally seduce teachers or offer sex in exchange for grades, as the university will not hesitate to punish any student who is proven guilty.
The VC referred to sexual harassment as a cankerworm that everyone must work together to eradicate, and vowed that the institution will not back down in its efforts to promote gender equality and a safe learning environment free of sexual harassment of any type.
