UNN Direct Entry/JUPEB Admission List for 2025/2026; The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the Direct Entry/JUPEB admission lists for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who applied for admission through the Direct Entry or JUPEB programme can now check their names and follow the necessary instructions for registration.

Important Instructions for All Successfully Admitted Candidates

All candidates whose names appear on the admission list are required to carefully follow the steps below to confirm and complete their admission process:

  1. Upload of O’Level Results
    • All candidates must urgently upload their O’Level (WAEC/NECO) results to the JAMB portal using a JAMB-approved CBT centre.
    • Confirm that the upload has been successfully reflected on your JAMB CAPS.
    • Failure to upload your O’Level results will prevent your admission from being processed.
  2. Change of Course (if applicable)
    • Candidates who were recommended for admission into courses different from their original JAMB application (through Advert/Shopping or Supplementary) must visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre and perform a Change of Course on the JAMB portal.
    • After completing the change, print your updated JAMB Admission Status and submit it to the UNN Admissions Office for final processing on JAMB CAPS.
    • This step is mandatory as only candidates properly updated in CAPS can be officially recognized as admitted.
  3. Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
    • Visit the JAMB CAPS portal and click “Accept Admission” to confirm your offer.
    • Candidates who fail to accept their admission will not be issued a JAMB Admission Letter and will be considered not admitted.
  4. Payment of Acceptance Fee
    • Visit the UNN website at unn.edu.ng or unnportal.edu.ng.
    • Log in using your JAMB Registration Number to generate and download a Payment Invoice containing a Remitta (RRR) number.
    • Use this invoice to pay a ₦30,000 acceptance fee at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.
    • Ensure that your invoice number is correctly entered at the bank. After payment, obtain a confirmation slip containing your confirmation number and invoice number.
  5. Print Admission Slip and Complete Acceptance Form
    • Return to the UNN Portal, log in again with your JAMB Registration Number, confirmation number, and invoice number.
    • Print your admission slip and complete the Acceptance Form online.
  6. Proceed with Registration
    • After payment of the acceptance fee, proceed to pay all other required fees and complete your registration as outlined on the UNN official website.

Important Notice

  • This admission is provisional.
  • If at any point in time, including the final year, it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the minimum university, faculty, or departmental entry requirements as approved by the Senate of the University and published in the JAMB Brochure, such admission will be automatically withdrawn.
