UNIZIK Cuts ICT Fees for Students 2024. Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka has introduced a significant reduction in ICT fees and charges, bringing financial relief to students. The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Carol Arinze Umobi, approved these changes based on recommendations from the ICT Committee, leading to a total reduction of N9,500 in ICT-related charges.

Key Changes in ICT Fees and Charges

  • Single ICT Charge: Students will now pay a one-time charge for all ICT services, eliminating multiple payments.
  • Abolished Fees:
    • Application Fee: Removed, saving students N2,000.
    • Duplicate Orientation Fee: Removed, saving students N3,500.
  • Reduced Fees:
    • General Studies Publications Fee: Reduced from N12,000 to N8,000.
  • Transcript Fees: A 50% reduction has been approved on all transcript fees.
